As anticipated by many, Great Western Trail: Second Edition now receives its own updated expansion — Rails to the North! With the progression of industrialization, ranchers can now deliver cattle farther than ever before, reaching destinations such as Oregon City and Montreal. These new delivery options can be extremely rewarding but require greater effort and planning.

This expansion brings back much of what made the original beloved, including the extended board, branchlets, additional player board add-ons, and more. It also introduces fresh content: new cattle cards, new solo cards to expand the solo mode, new objective cards, private buildings, and station master tiles, further enhancing replayability.
